I enjoyed your list of the 5 classics in philosophy. I would perhaps add Plato's Phaedo to Apology and Crito to round out the story of Socrates' death. These 3 Platonic works—read together—make a nice summary of Plato's take on Socrates' trial, arrest, and ultimate death. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the recommendations! Meditations is a great introduction to Stoicism and its benefits and drawbacks as a philosophy. I'm surprised I've never heard of lady philosophy. I will definitely be checking that out.
I cannot recommend Bertrand Russell's 'A History of Western Philosophy' enough as a starting point. Having a 40,000ft view is really valuable for a complex topic like philosophy.
The pre-socratics will be a bit of a slog at first, but hang in there and you will be rewarded greatly.
Man's Search for Meaning is a great book! I wish classical style education was being implemented more.

Read a few of these, would like to read a couple others. Great write up!
Solid choices 👊🏻
This is an excellent article! I’ve been thinking of reading The Prince; this is the nudge I needed!
I shall start with the first one on your list.
Common Sense by Thomas Paine
Candide by Voltaire? It’s a fairly easy read and actually kind of humorous
